In the last post, I stressed the importance of having your camera on; in this post, I want to give you a small, stupid trick.
If your camera isn’t in line with your slides, you’ll appear looking up or down, and the effect is bad, even if your picture is shown in a small box.
When I delivered a session at the Italian Cloud Day 2020, I couldn’t find the laptop support that I used in other sessions, so the laptop camera was much lower than the slides I was using. I looked awful in the recorded video.
I knew that the camera was in the wrong position, but I thought: “I can handle it, easily”.
But I couldn’t!
Turning the camera on is important, but making sure you look great without effort is crucial!
