You cannot thrive in the workplace, at school, in a group of people if you cannot express your ideas effectively.
This is why, today, public speaking should be taught at school. Everybody can create and deliver a knock-out presentation if trained well.
Gifted speakers are born, effective speakers are made. (cit.)
