LinkedIn is the professional social network, used to keep contact with colleagues, create new connections, and to share professional content.

LinkedIn is an essential tool for professional public speakers, it can be used:

  • To share their presentations (also using SlideShare, part of the LinkedIn family)
  • To create a community around a topic
  • To ease new engagements
  • etc.

To help people connect with you on LinkedIn, you can use the QR Code feature of the LinkedIn mobile app:

You can then create your QR Code (and save it) or scan a QR Code to connect with someone else.

I created a picture with the QR Code and some text, and added it at the end of my presentations, so people can easily connect if they liked my presentation:
